OMGThis ‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Was Exposed for Having a GF on Night 1 and It Was Crazy
Not a good look, dude! During night 1 on The Bachelorette, contestant Scott was exposed for already having a girlfriend back home. Hannah Brown epically called him out and sent him packing faster than you can say “Roll Tide.” There are 30 eligible men vying for the former beauty queen‘s heart and she has no time for people who aren’t going to take the process seriously.
During the premiere, former contestants from Colton Underwood‘s season Demi Burnett and Katie Morton played “Hannah’s Angels” and monitored the guys from a van outside by using hidden cameras. This is how they caught Scott talking about his ~endeavors~ outside of the show.
“Earlier today, someone reached out to me on social media saying that one of the guys has a girlfriend. I don’t know if it’s true, but I want to see if he has the nerve to show up tonight,” Demi and Katie explained before pulling Hannah aside. The Alabama native was not having any of it.
“So, I know you were nervous coming it and it could be because you have a girlfriend,” Hannah bluntly told Scott who immediately denied it. He then claimed that he came on the show for a “long-term relationship” but admitted that he talked to this particular girl “on Monday.”
“She messaged me on Monday but that doesn’t mean like … Everything that I have said to you has been honest and real at this point. I had no idea how this was going to go,” he halfheartedly explained. “Yes, I was dating a girl up until I got on the show, yes on Monday, I am sorry if that bothers you. Do I think this is long term? No, I don’t.”
Hannah snapped back, “How dare you come here and think this is OK? How is that being serious about this?” Scott then tried comparing his position to Hannah who “just dated” Colton. That’s when she had enough. “You are such a jerk and it’s not the same at all. You have another girl at home that is still on the line, so you know what, I am done with this. There is no reason for you to be here if you’re not serious. It’s time for you to head out,” she said and sent him packing.
This was the first big dramatic moment of season 15 but it definitely won’t be the last. In a separate trailer, the 24-year-old can be seen reaming out a few of the guys on what looks to be a group date. “None of you know anything about me,” the Alabama native tells the contestants through tears. She continued, “And what makes me me and the things that I’ve gone through because nobody’s even asked. ‘Cause all we do is talk about stupid s–t.” No one was laughing at the situation when she added, “So, figure it out or I don’t want to do this.”
Hannah later admitted in the video, “I’m a normal human being, like, trying to be the Bachelorette. I don’t know what to do and I’m scared.” It seems as though these guys definitely give her a run for her money to the point where she’s ready to live how she wants. “Honestly, my trust has been, like, completely broken so I’m for sure going to do what I want to do,” the former Miss Alabama confessed. Do you, girl!
Drama aside, we hope Hannah can weed through the frogs to find her prince.
