Even though Tyler Cameron didn’t end up getting engaged to Hannah Brown during the finale of The Bachelorette, the handsome hunk revealed that he still keeps in touch with his former flame. “We’re friends, and I think she’s an incredible girl, and I have so much love for her, and I want her to be successful and have the best,” the 26-year-old told Us Weekly at the Hudson River Park Annual Gala on Thursday, October 17.
The model noted that the last time he spoke with the 25-year-old Dancing With the Stars starlet was to wish her a happy birthday in September. However, he isn’t thinking about giving their relationship another shot at the moment. “I’m just trying to worry about today and tomorrow, you know?” he explained.
After the former beauty queen sent Tyler home during the season 15 finale of The Bachelorette, she learned that frontrunner Jed Wyatt was still speaking with his ex and quickly dumped him. So, during the After the Final Rose special, Hannah admitted that she would love to get a drink with the Florida native after the show wrapped. Ultimately, Tyler spent time with Hannah before he moved on with Gigi Hadid, but the two called it quits after two months together in early October.
For now, it seems like Tyler is trying to focus on himself at this point in his life. So much so, he isn’t thinking about dipping his foot into the Bachelor Nation dating pool. “I don’t mean no in a negative way,” he shared. “I’ve just never thought of it. Like, there’s beautiful girls and great girls I’ve met, but I haven’t even thought about dating in that sense. I only know a few of them, and they’re all great. … But like I said, dating girls is, like, the least of my worries right now. I’m so busy and running around. I’ll be in Toronto this weekend, Boston Monday and then Jupiter, [Florida], for the week to finally relax and hang with the family.”
Meanwhile, Hannah sounds like she is also a little busy at the moment while she struts her stuff on the dance floor. “I have not thought about that at all,” the TV personality exclusively told Life & Style in August about the possibility of finding love while on DWTS. “I’m truly just focused on continuing to love myself and see the places where I still need to work on that — and I think this is the way where I can do that.”
Well, it seems like if it’s meant to be, it’ll happen. But Tyler is single ladies — sooo, there’s that!
