The Bachelor’s Kelsey Anderson Shares Why She Got Veneers in Teeth Makeover: ‘Always Loved My Smile’

Keeping things honest! The Bachelor alum Kelsey Anderson recently underwent a makeover on her teeth and explained her decision to get multiple veneers and a new crown in a new video.

“Breaking news, Kelsey Anderson has fake teeth,” the ABC reality star, 26, joked in a TikTok video shared on Sunday, February 23. “But seriously, I did get nine veneers and one crown. I know I’m not bound to tell you guys this, but in my moral compass, it feels like what is right. I don’t want to just brush past the fact that I have a new smile or let people think that it’s whitening strips or whatever it is that enhanced my smile.”

Kelsey explained that “about seven years ago” during her college days, she broke three front teeth and became unable to brighten her smile at all because it would be obvious that she had temporary veneers. Additionally, because the coverings she had previously were temporary, they had started to chip.

“I had always been planning on eventually getting them redone,” she continued.

The time to get her new teeth came when she saw her dentist for a routine checkup and discovered that one of the root canals she had done when she broke her teeth had become infected. The Bachelor Nation star needed another root canal to clear out the decay and fix the damage.

“Since I knew that I would need to get the crown taken off, I was like, ‘This is probably the best time to just get them done, get them all the same so that all of my teeth will match,” she explained.

Kelsey said that she would know in about six months if all of the decay was removed and the bone grew back, and if not, she might need surgery with bone grafting to complete the process. However, she was hopeful that the initial procedure worked.

“This has nothing to do with me not liking my smile. I’ve always loved my smile,” the TV personality said of her motivations for getting the veneers, admitting that she did have some “insecurities” about her teeth not matching and being extremely brittle.

“I think that the dentist did a great job of trying to keep my original smile and just enhancing it,” Kelsey concluded. “I am just very happy with my smile. If you feel differently, that is A-OK, but you do not need to let me know. You can save your energy because I’m happy with it. It’s not changing. I’m happy and I’m healthy, and that’s what matters most.”

Kelsey — who has been engaged to Joey Graziadei since The Bachelor season 28 finale, which aired in March 2024 — has always been upfront and honest about cosmetic procedures. In a March 2024 TikTok video, the project assistant revealed that she once had lip filler but later got the injections dissolved.

“I honestly was so upset at myself after I got it. I have never wanted lip filler before and I don’t know why I got it. I’ve always had fuller lips, I just would always tuck them in whenever I would smile,” she explained.

More recently, Kelsey fired back at rumors that she had her ears pinned back and jokingly started a rumor that she got a Brazilian Butt Lift in a sassy TikTok video.

“I’m looking for Ozempic allegations. I’m looking for BBL allegations. I am not looking for, ‘Did she get her ears pinned back?’ allegations,” the Louisiana native joked on February 21. “Also, should I be offended by this? What are you trying to say? … I did not get my ears pinned back. Do better.”

Kelsey then stood up and turned around to show her backside as she hid her mouth and whispered, “I heard Kelsey got a BBL.”

“What?! Who said that? Ya’ll crazy. It’s all natural,” she added.
