A change of plans. Bachelor alum Victoria Fuller is saying goodbye to farm life and to her romance with Chris Soules. The former ABC star revealed they split on Wednesday, September 9, nearly five months after the duo started dating.

The season 24 contestant dished about their status while catching up with fellow Bachelor Nation star Nick Viall on a new episode of his “Viall Files” podcast.

“I am just living my best life. We went a separate direction, but I, like, respect him so much and I think he’s an amazing man,” the brunette beauty, 26, explained, confirming they are still on good terms post-breakup. “I just think that right now, I’m in a different place than he is.”

The TV personality said she is not planning to relocate, either. “I’m not moving to Iowa anytime soon, so I just want to focus on me. It’s been so much about other people this year, that I just really want to hone in on what I want to accomplish,” she noted.

“I still talk to him all the time,” Victoria shared about how close they remain. “We are a lot alike, but I just want to focus on myself right now. I’m not a farmer, but I know a lot about f—king corn now,” she quipped during the interview.

Speculation the two were a hot new item began in April after it was revealed she traveled to Arlington, Iowa, to see him in person. Fans also took notice when the pair began following each other on social media around that time. The rumors continued to swirl when they both visited her hometown together not long after.

In July, the medical sales representative confirmed they were a couple and gushed over how “happy” they were getting to know each other on a more personal level.

Viewers were introduced to Chris, 38, in 2014 when he appeared on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette. He went on to become the Bachelor in season 19 after becoming a fan-favorite on the show. Chris later got engaged to Whitney Bischoff, but they called it off in 2015.

More recently, his former flame Victoria made her reality TV debut on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, which premiered in January 2020.

It may be the end of Chris and Victoria’s love story, but it’s the beginning of a new chapter in both of their lives!
