From the Red Carpet to Casual Strolls: See Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk’s Cutest Photos Together

The pair first sparked dating rumors in 2015. Prior to that, Bradley ended his two-year relationship with Suki Waterhouse. Meanwhile, Irina confirmed her split from Cristiano Ronaldo after five years together.

In the early stages of their relationship, a source revealed to Us Weekly that “they’ve known each other for awhile. They have a good time together.” That was the case until they began growing apart.

According to a source who spoke to In Touch, the couple had been “on the verge of splitting for months.” Apparently, they both “tried to make it work for the sake of their daughter,” but the reality is that they “both have busy lives and careers which has made the process very long and drawn out.”

Despite being together for as long as they were, the insider told In Touch that they “never had a strong foundation to begin with,” and have “very little in common.” That could be one of the reasons why things finally sizzled out.

Many fans were quick to think Lady Gaga had something to do with Bradley and Irina’s breakup, but it seems like that couldn’t be farther from the truth. A source told Us Weekly that their relationship problems have “nothing to do” with the pop star.

In March 2017, the former couple welcomed their first child together, Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper. For now, their daughter seems to be their main priority as they are currently figuring out how to share custody of her.

“Lea is the best thing that’s ever happened to Bradley, so he doesn’t have any regrets,” another source told In Touch. “He’ll always care about Irina, but it’s reached the point where neither of them wants to continue sacrificing their happiness to stay stuck in a bad relationship.”

Despite their time together coming to an end, they shared some pretty awesome moments. Bradley gushed about his life with Irina and Lea in the past. “I guess having a child, and having a family of my own — which is a miracle and something I’ve always dreamt of — has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day, and to be present,” he told NPR’s Morning Edition during press tour for A Star Is Born.

Irina did the same when she told Glamour that her Bradley and her daughter are significant to her. “I’m from Russia and in Russia, family is one of the most important things,” she said.

Irina and Bradley have yet to comment about their split, but based on everything they shared during the last four years, we can only hope they remain good friends for their little one.
