“Bradley’s gone through a lot. Over the past 12 months, he’s released a successful, award-winning movie [and endured a highly publicized breakup.] Now, he’s starting over, leading a quiet life as a single dad — and, honestly, Bradley seems happier than ever,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style magazine, on newsstands now.
“Lea is his priority,” notes the insider. “While Bradley’s career is important to him, everything in his life takes a back seat to his daughter.” As it happens, Lea, 2, played a major role in Bradley, 44, and Irina, 33, staying together for as long as they did. In June, sources told In Touch that the A Star Is Born actor-producer and supermodel “tried to make it work for the sake of their daughter.”
However, in the end, their issues were seemingly too difficult to overcome. “Bradley and Irina never had a strong foundation to begin with,” a second insider told the publication of the former flames. “They have very little in common and to be honest, their relationship was based on mutual physical attraction. That’s about it! I have been around them many times and seen them barely speak to each other.”
Like many A-list parents — Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, just to name a few — Bradley and Irina have gone from a sweet, celebrity couple to dedicated coparents. Here’s hoping their efforts are equally as successful as those mentioned.
