Sam doesn’t only literally support the singer with her workouts, but also in all aspects of her life. On September 27, Britney took to Instagram to tell her fans she was going to be taking a much-needed break. “I hope y’all haven’t forgotten about me!!!” she wrote. “I’m taking this transition in my life to focus on what I really want … I’ve been working nonstop, well, since I was 8 years old in the business. Sometimes it’s good to stop and reflect !!!! Miss you all … I really do have the best fans in the world !!! #fbf.”

It turns out, Sam totally gets her need to take time off and agrees with her decision. “That’s a great message,” he told Entertainment Weekly, referring to Britney’s photo caption. “The same goes with me. I always take some time away from everything on myself. You gotta do that stuff in order to stay on top of your career, stay on top of your life, so you can have more to offer to your family members and people that you love the most.”

Britney and the personal trainer met in October 2016, and they’ve been going strong for nearly three years. The two are even set to celebrate holidays together. “I got family out here, I got my girlfriend,” he told the outlet about his plans for the holiday season. “So we’re gonna be spending a lot of time with my family and my girlfriend.” It’s a good thing Sam’s fam “loves” Britney. We’re sure they’re going to have a blast.
