Brittany Cartwright Details ‘Physical’ Relationship With Ex Jax Taylor’s ‘Hot’ Friend After Split
Brittany Cartwright served up some hot tea on why she hooked up with ex Jax Taylor‘s “hot” friend following the couple’s split in February.
We did not have a ‘no dating in the friend group’ policy,” Brittany, 35, told The Valley executive producer Alex Baskin during Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast on Monday, November 11. Page Six reported on October 7, that it was former TomTom doorman Julian Sensley whom Brittany was involved with.
“We never spoke about that because why would we?” she continued about the fling and why she didn’t tell Jax, 45. “First off, I didn’t think I was going to hook up with his friend. It wasn’t anything that I planned. I wasn’t trying to go after one of his friends. That’s not how it happened.”
Brittany added that she “always thought” Julian — who she did not name in the interview — “was so hot.” She also wasn’t interested in whether the hookup would hurt Jax.

“I was just so mad at Jax. I didn’t care if I hurt his feelings like that. Why should I care? He never cared about how he hurt my feelings for years. He put me down. He did so much to me that, I’m sorry you’re so upset about who it is, but at the same time, you didn’t give me attention, affection or anything for years,” the mother of one exclaimed.
Brittany went on to bring up how Jax cheated on her with pal and fellow former Vanderpump Rules castmate Faith Stowers during season 5 of the show. The pair ended up briefly splitting in 2017 as a result, although Brittany and Jax ended up getting back together and marrying in 2019.
“So, I was like, you know what? This guy is really hot, and I was taking care of myself, and Jax has no legs to stand on. He hooked up with my friend, let’s all remember that,” the Kentucky native said.
Jax hinted on June 5 that he was aware Brittany was seeing someone, sharing a post on X that read, “You may want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months….” which he quickly deleted.
Brittany announced on February 29 that she and Jax had separated after four years of marriage.

“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” the Bravolebrity revealed on the former couple’s podcast, “When Reality Hits.”
Brittany filed for divorce on August 27, listing their separation date as January 24, while citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. She requested legal and physical custody of their son, Cruz, whom the former couple welcomed in April 2021.
“I feel very strong right now,” Brittany exclusively told Life & Style in September about how she was holding up amid the divorce. “I’m really proud of myself for how strong I have been this year. And I don’t know. I just kind of, like, am trying to put myself first a little bit.”
“I wanted to feel better and get my confidence back for me. Mental health is so important, and I just was not myself for so long,” the reality star continued. “So right now, I’m just like in this ‘girl power, doing everything on my own, just feeling good about myself’ kind of mood and I love it.”
