Cameron Diaz Is Taking Natural Beauty Approach, Feels ‘Sorry’ for Peers ‘Full of Fillers’

Cameron Diaz is rolling back the years in glamorous new photos, as a source exclusively tells Life & Style that she’s benefited big time by steering clear of fillers and Botox since scaling back her Hollywood commitments and embracing full-time motherhood.

“It’s no secret Cameron used to get a little bit of work, just like everybody else in her industry she was under pressure to get Botox and all that stuff,” the source tells Life & Style. “But she hated how it changed her face and swore off it years ago and it’s really paid off because she looks fantastic and very natural, unlike a lot of her peers.”

The insider adds that Cameron, 52, “feels quite sorry for some of those peers that she’s still in touch with when she meets them for lunch and sees their faces contorted, full of fillers and looking puffy and weird.”

“Everyone has noticed Cameron’s happy healthy glow, and she always credits her laidback lifestyle out of the spotlight,” the source continues. “For the most part she’s totally over Hollywood, and all the superficiality.”

When Cameron gets compliments about “how great she looks” and is asked “how she does it,” the Charlie’s Angels actress “always says it’s because she takes care of herself from the inside out.”

“She accepts that she is going to age and doesn’t try to stay frozen in time. She eats a very healthy whole foods diet but doesn’t deprive herself, she just makes good choices,” the insider adds. “When she wants a dessert, she makes sure it’s made with quality organic ingredients. That’s why her wine brand is organic, she really believes in avoiding pesticides and toxic chemicals.”

When it comes to beauty treatments, the insider explains that Cameron “gets regular facials and does get laser treatments.” However, the Other Woman star’s “not pumping her face with Botox or filler, she’s very against that.”

Cameron has taken a more natural approach to beauty after she took time off from acting. The upcoming film Back in Action, which is set to premiere on Netflix in January 2025, will mark her first acting job in 11 years. Despite returning to the spotlight, Cameron has been unapologetic about the time she took off from her acting career. In fact, she has kept busy by welcoming two children with her husband, Benji Madden, and she also launched her wine business, Avaline.

“For me, it was just something I had to do,” she said about the break while speaking at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in October. “It felt like something I had to do to reclaim my own life. And I just really didn’t care about anything else.”

The My Best Friend’s Wedding actress continued, “Nobody’s opinion, nobody’s success, no one’s offer, no one’s anything could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself and building the life that I really wanted to have. It really comes to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.”
