Cardi B Shares Adorable Video of Daughter Kulture Singing With Aunt Hennessy Carolina: ‘My Babies’
A star in the making! At just 17 months old, Cardi B’s daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, is already quite the singer. On Monday, December 16, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 27, shared a video of sister Hennessy Carolina and Kulture belting out one seriously adorable rendition of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”
“Ready?! Ready to sing with your auntie? Ready to sing with me?” Hennessy, 23, excitedly asked Kulture. “Five, four, three, two, one … let’s go!” From there, the precious pair started reciting the lyrics, as well as doing the corresponding dance moves. In the event you grew up under a rock, we’ll go ahead and include them for you.
“Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes./ Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes./ And eyes and ears and mouth and mouth and nose./ Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes, knees and toes.” As you can see, it isn’t the most complicated verse on the planet, but Kulture’s has to start somewhere, right?
After all, with two award-winning artists as parents — Cardi shares Kulture with Migos member Offset — it’s only a matter of time before she takes the stage herself! That said, Cardi has never mentioned her hopes for Kulture to grow up in show business. If anything, the Hustlers actress has expressed how difficult it is to be a parent in Hollywood.
“Flying is hard on Kulture, so if I go to a place and I’m not going to stay more than five days, I’m not bringing her,” Cardi told Vogue magazine in an interview published on December 9. “But now that’s getting harder, because she’s sleeping on my chest and she doesn’t want to let me go, or she sees you on FaceTime and she’s crying. It’s kind of like a friendship now, and it’s hard to leave your little friend.”
Thankfully, Cardi’s family, including Hennessy, are nothing but supportive! Even when her mama is traveling around the globe, Kulture is clearly well taken care of.
