The flashy girl from Flushing meets the “Bodak Yellow” rapper from the Bronx! After paying homage to The Nanny with an animal-print outfit during Milan’s Fashion Week, Cardi B is in talks with Fran Drescher about starring in the hit ’90s sitcom reboot! But Cardi doesn’t want to stop there.

“Everyone loves the idea of Cardi playing Fran’s daughter, but she’s such a big personality in her own right,” a source close to the hip-hop star revealed to Life & Style magazine. “Cardi’s reached out to several producers about developing her own show, either a sitcom or a reality series, starring her and her sister Hennessy Carolina,” the source added.

Question is, will Cardi’s catapult into television mean the end of her rap career? While the 25-year-old has yet to comment, the timing for a little break couldn’t be better. After all, Cardi has been feuding with fellow industry heavy-hitter Nicki Minaj for months now.

Most recently, the mother-of-one blamed Nicki’s fans for leaking her new song. Cardi first teased the song “Money” on Monday, Oct. 22, stating fans should expect her new single on Thursday. Somehow, someone got a hold of the track and leaked it on Tuesday instead. An angry Cardi then took to Instagram Live to share her thoughts on why she believed Nicki’s loyal fandom, the Barbz, were responsible for the leak.

“Sometimes when you send your records early to these streaming or these music platforms, somebody from they building leak it and everything and then we try to retract it, but you know the Barbz. They always posting me. They always posting everything I do,” she said.

As to whether Cardi’s claims are accurate or not still remains to be seen. However, we bet she wouldn’t have to deal with this much drama as the star of her own sitcom!
