Carrie Underwood and Husband Mike Fisher Got A New Pup and He’s the Cutest
New addition alert! Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expanding their family with a new fur baby before the singer gives birth. The couple shared a photo of their adorable puppy and gushed that their son, Isaiah, picked out the … uh, unexpected … name. “Meet the newest member of our family!” the 38-year-old hockey player captioned a photo of their sweet pup. “Isaiah affectionately named him Zero. I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home,” he jokingly added.
Obviously, it’s the most precious face we’ve ever seen. The family is adding a lot of new additions this year. The 35-year-old country singer is pregnant with the couple’s second child. The American Idol alum even revealed that she was having a boy during the Country Music Awards in November. According to Taylor Dye (a.k.a half of the musical duo Maddie & Tae), the songstress is due sometime in January.
This pregnancy is huge for the blonde beauty because she suffered three miscarriages before getting pregnant with her second child. “2017 just wasn’t how I imagined it. I kind of planned that 2017 was going to be the year that I work on new music, and I’d have a baby,” she said while holding back tears during an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.
“We got pregnant early 2017 and it didn’t work out. Yeah, it happens. And that was the thing, in the beginning, it’s like OK, God, we know that this just wasn’t your timing and that is alright, we will bounce back and figure our way through it. And then we got pregnant in the spring and it didn’t work out. Got pregnant again in early 2018, didn’t work out. So at that point, it was kinda like OK, what’s the deal?”
The family is over-the-moon about the arrival of their youngest son, and the “Cry Pretty” singer has kept her health top priority. “Carrie began calling this baby a miracle from God,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style. “She’s doing her best to stick to work commitments but knows how important it is to take care of herself, especially after everything that’s happened.”
We can’t wait to meet the pair’s newborn. In the meantime, their new pup will have to do.
