Singer Demi Lovato‘s first post-rehab Christmas looked like it was seriously one for the books — family, gifts, relaxation, and dogs everywhere. The incredible beltress was hospitalized for a near-fatal overdose back in July and since the culmination of her rehabilitation stint in November, Demi has been absolutely thriving. In a recent Twitter post, Demi spoke of her recovery process: “I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body, and soul and come back when I’m ready. I have my fans to thank for that.”

It seems as though Demi really took those words to heart this holiday season, as she took to her Instagram stories to share her Christmas morning with us. Scroll through to see photos of Demi Lovato and her family gettin’ their Christmas on.

Demi shared one of her gifts, too — a personalized ornament for her late puppy Buddy, who passed away in 2015 after being attacked by coyotes. The dog belonged to Demi and ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.
