Christina and Ant Anstead Have Made Decorating the Baby Nursery ‘A Family Affair’
Baby on the way! Reality stars Christina and Ant Anstead have already started getting the nursery together for their first child together. The couple has incorporated both of their tastes into the decor, with help from their other kiddos.
“Christina, Ant and their kids have made decorating their new baby’s nursery a family affair — they’re doing it together,” an insider dished exclusively to Life & Style. The 35-year-old HGTV babe has two kids — daughter Taylor and son Brayden — from her previous marriage to Tarek El Moussa that ended in 2016. Ant also has two children who he shares with his ex-wife — daughter Amelie and son Archie.
The newlywed couple announced at the end of March that they were expecting a boy this September. It sounds like they’re each bringing their own flair to the nursery. “Since it’s a boy, Ant is getting his way and decorating it the only way he knows how — with lots of cars. Their two boys love the idea,” the source revealed.
However, Christina has brought a softer tone to the room. The insider noted, “Christina and the girls are adding in touches so it doesn’t look like a garage. The girls have added is some jungle animals and trees. It looks adorable.”
One thing is for sure: Their crew can’t wait for the new bundle of joy. “The whole family is excited about their little brother, they can’t wait for his arrival,” the source gushed.
Christina and Ant have had a whirlwind romance. They first got together in October 2017 and tied the knot in December 2018. The two seem like they were hit with love at first sight.
She gushed on Instagram in October 2018, “A year ago today @ant_anstead called me for the first time and we spoke for 29 mins … Two days later while he was at Sema he FaceTimed me (I was thinking who FaceTimes). Anyways I answered and we spoke for 2.5 hours … Two days later we met for the first time and we’ve been inseparable ever since. #FATE.” She added about her hunky man, “You have showed [sic] me what real unconditional love is. … I love this life with you. I love our blended family. I can’t wait to see where the next year takes us. I know it’s going to be magical.”
