‘Flip or Flop’ Star Christina Anstead Calls Son Her ‘Cuddle Buddy’ on His 1-Month Birthday: See Pics
Too adorable! Christina Anstead is all about her newborn son, Hudson, these days. The 36-year-old took to her Instagram Story to gush about her baby boy alongside series of photos of him looking super comfy and snuggly.
“My cuddle buddy is officially one month old,” she wrote on the pic of Hudson sleeping. In addition, the Flip or Flop star shared footage of baby Hudson moving his mouth as if he was latching on for milk. “Dreaming of a boob?” she wrote on the video.
It’s been an eventful month for the mom of three. She and husband Ant Anstead welcomed Hudson on September 6, and it’s been nonstop family time for them since. On September 21, Christina was joined by her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, whom she shares her two oldest children — Brayden and Taylor — to celebrate their daughter’s birthday.
In the process of making sure Taylor’s birthday party went smoothly, Christina unfortunately injured herself. “Well … I’m a moron,” she wrote on Instagram on September 24. “I felt totally fine since one week postpartum — like zero pain — but I was resting and taking it easy … and then I threw Tay a B-day party and was lifting and running around all weekend … And yesterday I woke up like, ‘Oh crap.’ … And today, ‘Oh crap,’ turned into, ‘Oh s–t. I definitely hurt myself.'”
Thankfully, it had nothing to do with her c-section incision. However, her abdomen was in pain as a result of working too hard, which prompted her to warn new moms. “So please, [to] anyone who just had a baby: Don’t overdo it,” she continued. “I always want to be the people pleaser in the family and make sure everyone knows how much I care about them, but in doing so I wasn’t taking care of myself. Back to bed rest and baby cuddles. 💙”
Unlike Christina, her ex Tarek isn’t looking to expand his family anytime soon. The 38-year-old made his romance with girlfriend Heather Rae Young public in August and he seems happy with the pace of things. “I have an amazing 4-year-old and an amazing 8-year-old,” he exclusively told Life & Style in September. “I’m trying to wrangle those two, right. It’s good enough for me right now.”
