Cole Sprouse Gushes That He’s ‘Lucky’ to Have Lili Reinhart in His Life in Sweet Birthday Post
Don’t get it twisted — they are still an item! Cole Sprouse wished Lili Reinhart a happy birthday in a very sweet post that confirmed they are very much still together, despite split rumors over the past couple of months. News surfaced on July 22 that the Riverdale costars had broken up. Then, an article in W Magazine that was published a few days later said the two were “uncoupling.” However, the actors stood firm that it was all gossip and seem to still be going strong.
“Lil @lilireinhart was born on a Friday the 13th and haven’t I just been so lucky ever since?” Cole, 27, wrote on Instagram to celebrate Lili’s 23rd birthday on September 13. He accompanied the sweet caption with four photo booth photos, one of which shows the duo sharing a passionate kiss.
“Goals this is goals,” one fan gushed while another person echoed, “This is the cutest thing ever.” A separate user added, “This calms all my fears for the next year.” Someone else noted, “Omg they’re still together yessss.”
Lili previously slammed the split rumors by writing, “none of you know s—t,” on Instagram after the W Magazine article was released, but people were still skeptical about the status of her and Cole’s relationship.
More clarity came on August 4, the former Disney kid‘s birthday, when the blonde beauty posted a loving tribute to the stud. “I tried to find a poem that I could send to you. Because my words were failing me. But I searched and found nothing that did you justice. All of these love poems can’t get it right. No one else’s words could ever fit. They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you. -sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse,” Lili captioned a photo of Cole smoking a cigarette.
She then dropped the B-word during an interview with Coveteur on September 8. “I think I’m leaning in towards a character for Halloween,” she explained about her possible costume choice for the holiday. “I think I’m going to do it with my boyfriend, Cole. I don’t want to spoil it if it’s not going to happen, but it’s a TV duo.”
Apparently, there’s nothing to see here, folks!
