Demi Lovato Joins the Cast of ‘Will & Grace’ for an Upcoming Episode and Fans Are Here for It: ‘Yes, Girl!’
Coming to a TV screen near you! Demi Lovato took to Instagram on Monday, August 26, to reveal that she’ll be joining the cast of Will & Grace for an upcoming episode. “Will & Grace & Demi,” the former Disney Channel star, 27, captioned a snapshot of herself cozied up on the NBC set.
Needless to say, fans went absolutely wild over the news. “Legendary,” gushed one user. “Yes, girl!” added another. “I’m so proud of you!” a third user chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “Queen of Acting.”
As it stands, the details surrounding Demi’s character on the hit sitcom are unknown. However, we have absolutely no doubt she’s going to kill it. After all, have you seen her in Camp Rock or Sonny with a Chance? The woman knows how to act.
Of course, Demi getting back behind the camera is inspiring for more reasons than one. Following the pop star’s near-fatal drug overdose in July 2018, Demi has remained sober and continues to use the tools she learned in treatment.
“Demi knows she’s lucky to be alive,” a source told Life & Style following the tragic accident. “She isn’t taking rehab lightly at all.” Clearly, that’s very much still the case.
Question is, when does Demi plan on getting back into the studio? After all, music was her first passion and her Lovatics are *beyond* ready for some new tunes! Thankfully, on August 20, Demi confirmed a new album while chatting with fans on social media. *Pauses to squeal.*
“Demi is writing songs, working out, meditating and just filling her path, and of course, being sober,” an additional source told Life & Style. “She feels like her last relapse was an eye-opener and a reminder that she needs to stay diligent and work her sobriety program.”
