Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott Didn’t Get Engaged During the Super Bowl Halftime Show and Fans Are Like WTF?
Another Super Bowl, another huge surprise from Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott … or was it? The rapper hit the field for his first ever performance during the big game and fans were expecting it to end with a huge proposal to the makeup mogul.
The most surprising thing to happen during the performance? The “Butterfly Effect” rapper showed up then crowd surfed away. And, that was it. It would be an understatement to say he definitely left fans wanting more.
Considering the couple announced the arrival of their first child, Stormi Webster, during the Super Bowl in 2018, spectators were definitely expecting something big from them this year. Fans called out that “they took over attention” from the game last year so they were bound to top themselves. Reasonable speculation, right?
“The prospect of Travis Scott proposing to Kylie is the only this keeping me watching this game,” one fan tweeted. Someone else quipped, “If [Travis] proposes to [Kylie] at tonight’s Super Bowl no man is allowed to propose to me in any other fashion.”
Even though Travis didn’t propose, he did share a photo of Kylie on Instagram after he performed — and it looks like she’s definitely wearing a diamond ring on THAT finger. Hmm.
On December 20, the “Sicko Mode” rapper, 26, divulged to Rolling Stone that getting engaged to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 21, was only a matter of time. “We was just two kids, f-king around. Maybe, like, the first week, you don’t know if it’s real or a fling. Then the second week you’re like, ‘Whoa, I’m still talking to her, she’s responding, I’m responding. We ain’t run out of a thing to say,'” he gushed. “It got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one.'”
He added, “We’ll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up — I gotta propose in a fire way.” Is there a more “fire” way to get engaged than while performing at the Super Bowl? Uh, no.
Leave it to these two crazy kids to keep us guessing!
