Dean Unglert Makes a Surprise Appearance on ‘BIP’ — But Does He Win Over Caelynn Miller-Keyes?
After Dean Unglert made a surprise appearance on Bachelor in Paradise on the Monday, September 9, episode, fans immediately wondered if the handsome hunk would win Caelynn Miller-Keyes over. Well, folks, we have our answer! Fortunately, the blonde beauty, 24, wanted to leave with Dean, 26.
“I am a changed man,” Dean declared to Caelynn in the beginning of the episode. “It just really comes down to what you want to do. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy coming out of this. We are going to have things to work on, but I want to try those things, and I want it to be with you.”
However, the former beauty queen was hesitant about trusting her ex after he blindsided her earlier this summer. Another factor in the way? Caelynn recently found love with Connor Saeli in Mexico. Connor, 24, also made it clear how he felt about Caelynn. “I want you to stay,” he confessed. “I want to keep this going, and I feel like I can definitely se a future outside of this with you. I don’t want you to leave. I don’t want it to be over. Sure him coming back is a grand gesture, but what happens when you get back home? What happens when you are together and things get tough? Is he going to be there and comfort you or is he going to leave like he did before? You’ve been hurt before, and he already has hurt you.”
After Caelynn’s chat with Connor, she decided to hear Dean out one last time. “When I get too close to someone, I run around and run in the opposite direction,” he said. “I am afraid of opening up. I don’t think I will improve on those issues unless I take it head on. I understand your hesitation, but I want to know I wouldn’t waste my own time in coming back to pursue something that wasn’t worth pursuing.”
Dean added, “I can’t tell you what is going to happen next, but I want to try. I want to figure this out, and I want it to be with you. I know it’s a difficult decision. You put a smile on my face every time, and I don’t want that to stop.”
Ultimately, the Virginia native followed her heart and chose the travel guru. Caelynn tried to explain things to Connor before she left. “I think I need to go,” she said. “I am really sorry. It doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t make sense to you, it doesn’t make sense to me.”
Sadly, Connor doesn’t take the news so well and is disappointed with her choice. “It’s mind-blowing to me what just happened,” he said.
Well, it looks like Dean and Caelynn got their happily ever after since they left the show together, and the two couldn’t stop cuddling and kissing while in the car.
