She’s a stunner! The brunette beauty made her presence known on the red carpet, donning a sexy blouse and shorts combo with some seriously strappy heels. Like we said, the girl knows how to turn a look.

Undoubtedly, she must have had a great time at the event — and even threw a little support her friend’s way. Pregnant model Ashley Graham also attended (and presented!) at the event and Em shouted her out by yelling “Hot mama!” at her when she sat down at her table, an eyewitness told Life & Style.

Finding Her ‘Femme’

Believe it or not, Emily has struggled with her ~femme~ persona a little bit, despite the fact that she connects with it the most. “Two summers ago, while vacationing with my friend and her girlfriend, my friend made an offhand remark about me being ‘hyper femme,’” she wrote in a personal essay for Harper’s Bazaar. “It kind of threw me because in many ways, probably like anyone would, I felt that her comment was an oversimplification of my identity. In my day-to-day life, I was not aware of being femme or masc or anything but just me. Her observation surprised me and made me feel suddenly self-conscious.”

Express Yourself

But ultimately, she was able to come to terms with her preferred mode of expression — and that everyone has their own way. “Despite the countless experiences I’ve had in which I was made to feel extremely ashamed and, at times, even gross for playing with sexiness, it felt good to play with my feminine side then, and it still does now,” she continued in her essay. “I like feeling sexy in the way that makes me, personally, feel sexy. Period.”
