‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Spoilers: An Unexpected Wedding Ceremony Shocks Fans Ahead of Upcoming Season
Euphoria season 3 just started filming in April, but recent photos making the rounds on social media have fans speculating about an unexpected wedding that might take place in upcoming episodes.

Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the HBO hit series, was seen wearing a wedding dress in pictures shared to X on Tuesday, April 15. Along with Sydney, 27, Alanna Ubach, who plays Cassie’s mom, Suze, could be seen holding an umbrella over the Anyone But You actress. Eagle-eyed fans also spotted a large N and C monogram in the center of the walkway, hinting that Cassie marries Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi).
Viewers were torn on if the photos actually depicted Cassie and Nate getting married or if it was possibly a dream Cassie has during Euphoria season 3.
“Oh she really marries Nate …” one person wrote.
Another added, “Knowing Euphoria, this is probably some kind of an imagination scene that will take place in the show for a total of 4 seconds.”
Fans on Reddit were also split regarding the possibility of the wedding being a dream, and one person thought this might symbolize the beginning of Nate following in his dad’s footsteps.
“I think they’re going to show us that Nate is exactly like his dad by marrying someone he doesn’t truly love to keep up an image,” a Redditor wrote.
Nate and Cassie’s chaotic relationship was a huge focal point in Euphoria season 2 after the two secretly hooked up behind Cassie’s best friend Maddy Perez’s back. Cassie spent the majority of season 2 unraveling as she worried about Maddy (Alexa Demie) discovering her and Nate’s affair, along with one seriously unhinged mirror monologue from Sydney in episode 3. (“I have never, ever been happier!”)
However, it all came to a head when Rue (Zendaya) gets cornered for her drug relapse. As a way to take the heat off of herself, Rue exposed Cassie in front of Maddy and all of their other friends. In the midst of Rue’s intervention, Maddy exploded on Cassie and what followed was several slammed doors and a lot of screaming.
The love triangle ended in an emotional trainwreck as Cassie’s sister, Lexi (Maude Apatow), blew up all of their friendships with a school play that featured Maddy, Cassie and more as main characters and gave fans one of the most meme-able lines of the season – “Wait. Is this f–king play about us?”
Nate dumped Cassie, calling her a “mistake,” and Maddy finally blew a fuse and slapped Cassie on stage in front of the entire school. While some viewers expected an all-out brawl to follow, Maddy’s anger quickly fizzled before she gave Cassie one last warning and said, “Don’t worry — this is just the beginning.”
Filming for Euphoria season 3 was hit with several delays due to creator Sam Levinson’s and Zendaya’s busy work schedules, along with the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes in 2023. However, on February 10, HBO announced that filming for season 3 had begun when it shared a photo of Rue looking over her shoulder in a dimly lit room.
