Golden Bachelorette’s Pascal’s Daughter Natalie Defends Him From Haters: ‘Always Have My Dad’s Back’
Pascal Ibgui has the support of his daughter Natalie Ibgui (who goes by Natalie Crystalle on social media) amid his journey on The Golden Bachelorette.
In a video posted to TikTok on October 19, Natalie, 32, mouthed along to Sara Bareilles’ song “Brave.” Over the video, she wrote, “All the people that talked smack about my dad PASCAL from The Golden Bachelorette without knowing his life story.” She also captioned the clip, “I’ll always have my dad’s back … that’s a fact.”
Some viewers were initially put off by Pascal, 70, due to his high maintenance lifestyle. However, after some of his deeper conversations with Joan Vassos and his emotional reaction to Mark Anderson being eliminated during the October 16 episode, many fans are rooting for him.

Natalie, who is a single mother, often posts about The Golden Bachelorette on social media, including reaction videos to her dad being on the show and responses to what people are saying online. In another recent clip, she reacted to “the amount of times [her] dad Pascal has his shirt off” on the show by mouthing along to Justin Bieber saying, “Immediately no. Immediately no. I’m telling you right now. I’ve seen what I needed to see.”
Since Natalie lives in Canada, she admittedly doesn’t get to see her dad, who resides in Chicago, very often. The salon owner also has another daughter and a son who often appear on his Instagram page.
“My brother and sister are way younger than me and they live in Chicago,” Natalie explained in a September TikTok video when fans wondered why she rarely pops up on her dad’s social media. “So they get to see him all the time, whereas I see him a couple times a year. That’s why I’m not on his Instagram. And to be honest, we don’t take, like, a ton of pictures together.”
Pascal made it to hometown dates on The Golden Bachelorette and will introduce Joan, 61, to his family during the Wednesday, October 23, episode. Natalie and her son were in attendance for the family meeting, as seen in previews for the episode. In one clip, Natalie was seen saying, “He’s not going to pick you.”
Earlier this month, Natalie revealed on TikTok that she was actually the one who signed her dad up to be on the dating show. However, she said that after he found out and she showed him the potential leading ladies from season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, he was immediately drawn to Joan the most.
“When we [found] out that it’s Joan, I was like, ‘Dad, it’s actually Joan,’ and he was really excited,” Natalie revealed. “I don’t know if you guys remember in one of the episodes – I think it was the first episode, the first night, when he pulled her aside – he’s like, ‘I’m going to be completely honest with you, if it wasn’t you I wouldn’t be here.’ And he actually genuinely meant that.”
The Golden Bachelorette airs on ABC Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
