Lookin’ Good, Mama! Pregnant ‘RHOC’ Alum Gretchen Rossi Flaunts Her Baby Bump in a Sexy Skintight Dress

It’s no surprise the 40-year-old was totally glowing as she made her way to the event. Look at that laugh!

Gretch and longtime BF Slade Smiley have been talking about family and babies as long as us RHOC fans can remember.

The couple announced their pregnancy on December 17, 2018 and immediately started calling the new baby their “little Christmas Miracle.”

“Although we are beyond excited about our little Christmas Miracle, we also know we are going to have a lot of sleepless nights coming up and this is going to be a huge change for us,” the reality star told Life & Style exclusively.

“So we have a little anxiety about it, but we know together we can get through it because we have been unbreakable through everything thus far,” she said. The great news for the first-time parents comes four long years after they began the IVF process.

Back in April 2018, pregnancy was but a wish and a hope for Gretchen. “I am praying that we can have at least two babies,” she revealed to Life & Style.

“If I had the ideal situation, of course, a boy and a girl would be wonderful, but as the saying goes, ‘Tell God your plans and watch him laugh.’ So, I will be happy and blessed with everywhere he thinks is best for us,” she said.

“I used to [want] four,” she added. “But now I would be happy if we could just have one.”

Gretchen and Slade dealt with a lot of disappointment and heartbreak during the reproductive endeavor, including losing 14 embryos during one round of treatment.

“I really went into a depression and I couldn’t even think about or talk about IVF or trying to get pregnant again because physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, it just breaks you,” the RHOC alum said of the stress of IVF and trying to conceive.

Considering the immense struggle the longtime duo has dealt with in their pregnancy journey, it makes total sense they’d decide to celebrate with the most fun gender reveal party ever. The couple was dressed to kill in blue and pink pastels, with balloons everywhere.

They set off confetti blasters and the color was pink! All of the amazing photos and videos show how thrilled the couple was at the news of a baby girl.

“We wanted a little girl so much,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories the day of the reveal party. “We couldn’t be happier! Best day of my life!”

Gretchen and Slade have been together for about ten years, but still have yet to tie the knot. If you’re a RHOC fan, you probably remember the marriage talk from Gretch’s days on the show — the duo never did make it down the aisle, no matter how much everyone was (or wasn’t, at times) rooting for them.

Fast forward to 2019, though, and the couple is engaged (going on four years) and on their way to saying “I do,” though an official date hasn’t been shared by the pair. We do need the date to show up, guys — just sayin’!

We have a feeling that once they have this new baby girl in the mix, the family is just going to come together — married or not. Congrats to the lovely couple! Hopefully, this is the first of many.
