The couple announced in December that they were expecting a tiny bundle of joy.

It’s Been a Long Journey.

The couple experienced a lot of hardship during their four years trying to conceive using IVF, including losing 14 embryos during one round of treatment.

They Had Some Rough Moments.

“I really went into a depression and I couldn’t even think about or talk about IVF or trying to get pregnant again because physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, spiritually, it just breaks you,” Gretchen told Life & Style about their struggle.

Things are definitely looking up! Gretchen and Slade were surrounded by love when they found out they were having a daughter.

From the desserts to the starlet’s dress, everything was blue and pink. The whole party was adorable!

“Although we are beyond excited about our little Christmas Miracle, we also know we are going to have a lot of sleepless nights coming up and this is going to be a huge change for us,” the reality star told Life & Style.

She admitted, “So we have a little anxiety about it, but we know together we can get through it because we have been unbreakable through everything thus far.”

The duo has been together for nearly a decade and are currently engaged. We think they make a great team.

Her Pregnancy Started Rough.

“It’s been a little bit harder than I definitely anticipated,” the Bravo alum shared with People about her struggles during the first trimester. “I think they lie to you when they tell you [that] you’re gonna get morning sickness. They lie to you — it’s all day sickness! But the good news is that my doctor told me that’s actually a good sign.”

Things Are Going Smoother.

She seemingly is feeling a lot better as the weeks roll on. The blonde beauty posted a series of photos in her underwear that showed off her growing bump on February 24. “Feeling so great finally in my second trimester!” she captioned the photo.

Fans would never know that Gretchen was struggling with morning sickness because she’s continued to always look like a total stunner.
