One nation, Underwood. The new House of Cards trailer was just released by Netflix and it hits way too close to home!

Frank and Claire Underwood are back and Season 5 is focused on the power couple's fight to stay in the White House — by any means necessary.

"The American people don't know what's best for them. I do," Kevin Spacey ominously narrates in Frank's signature Southern drawl to kick off the trailer. "I know exactly what they need. They're like little children, Claire. We have to hold their sticky fingers and wipe their filthy mouths. Teach them right from wrong… Lucky for them, they have me."

Along with a close election, which should give viewers serious déjà vu, fans of the Netflix series can expect some twists and turns this season, including what appears to be a funeral and another possible victim for Doug Stamper.

(WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!) Last season, the popular political drama ended with Frank and Claire, played to perfection by Robin Wright, sitting in the situation room watching a live video of the execution of James Miller by terrorists, known as ICO, before they both break the fourth wall.

As expected, Claire is more involved than ever in Frank's election campaign but longtime viewers know their marriage is still on the rocks. In the promo video, Claire literally walks over Frank, possibly insinuating that she is after more than just the First Lady title.

The menacing trailer ends with Frank implying he is in for the long haul when it comes to the presidency, and not just the two terms dictated by the Constitution.

"Underwood 2016…" Frank says, before adding, "2020, 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036. One nation, Underwood."

New episodes of House of Cards will premiere on Netflix on Tuesday, May 30.
