While Jenna Dewan has yet to announce the sex of her baby, fans think the 38-year-old may have sneakily revealed that she’s having a girl on Instagram. However, the actress put those rumors to rest, admitting she wasn’t intending to expose the sex of her bundle of joy. By the looks of it, we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer to learn what she’s having because the Step Up alum stayed tight-lipped.

It all started when a fan called in and asked Jenna during her October 23 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’s After Show, if the IG photo she recently shared of a pink bow tied around her tummy meant she’s expecting a girl. Jenna answered without giving away too many details. “I’m keeping this secret to myself, but I was not trying to tell any sort of…” she confessed. “That was not a gender reveal. I saw a lot of people asking about it and I didn’t even think about that. No.”

Jenna already has a daughter — 6 year-old Everly Tatum — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Channing Tatum. This will be her first child with her current boyfriend, Steve Kazee, and the couple seem over the moon with happiness. For starters, when they each confirmed the baby news after plenty of speculation, they couldn’t help but gush over each other and their growing family.

“I can’t even begin to describe the feelings that I have had since we first learned that Jenna was pregnant!” the Broadway actor, 43, wrote on Instagram on September 24. “I have waited my entire life for this moment and couldn’t have found a better person to build a family with.” He then shared some kind words about Everly, adding that “she burst into my life like a supernova and has continued to burn so brightly in it.” Aw!

Jenna and Channing announced their split in April 2018, and since then, they’ve continued to make Everly their main priority. “Jenna and Channing just want the other to be happy and make sure that Everly is always safe and in appropriate surroundings,” a source exclusively told Life & Style in May. “That’s pretty much their only objective. They understand better than anyone that life goes on after divorce, and that they’ll always have Everly in common.” Luckily, things couldn’t be going better for the former flames and their little one!
