Newly Single Jeffree Star and Todrick Hall Have a Flirty Exchange on Instagram
We’re blushing! A newly single Jeffree Star took to Instagram on Sunday, January 19, to share a striking photo of himself. “I’m hungry for some chocolate,” the popular beauty guru, 34, captioned the snapshot.
The picture most definitely caught the attention of fellow YouTuber Todrick Hall, who commented, “Well, since you asked so nicely,” along with an emoji of a man raising his hand. Jeffree then responded with three angel emojis, a flame emoji and a star emoji. If that’s not some serious social media flirtation, we don’t know what is!
That said, considering the makeup mogul just split from his boyfriend of five years, Nathan Schwandt, we’re not too sure if Jeffree is ready to dive back into the dating pool. After all, his breakup announcement was beyond emotional.
“Me and Nathan will be friends forever, I will always have love for him,” the Jeffree Star Cosmetics founder assured in a January 11 YouTube video. “Are we in love with each other? No. But we love each other and he will always be in my life.”
In love or not, Jeffree made it clear that both he and Nate, 26, were very much in the process of grieving the loss of their relationship. “I’ve used a lot of this time of silence to just try to heal. We’re both in a state of shock. I’m devastated, I’m so sad,” Jeffree expressed. “And the love of my life is no longer — I don’t wake up to him anymore. He’s no longer here every morning and my routines have changed and I’m just in a state of shock right now. We both are.”
Unsurprisingly, Jeffree and Nate were hardly the only ones in a state of shock. Fans of the longtime flames couldn’t believe the heartbreaking news. “True love is dead,” one user reacted on Twitter. “Jeffree and Nate broke up. Love is officially canceled in 2020,” added another.
Let’s hope that’s not the case, OK? Keep healing (and flirting!), Jeffree.
