Jennifer Lawrence and Husband Cooke Maroney Do LDW Lunch

Couples’ day out! Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, were spotted heading to lunch in New York City on Saturday, September 5.

In photos obtained by Life & Style, the actress, 30, could be seen rocking a summery green dress and walking side-by-side with her art dealer beau, 36, down the streets of Manhattan. The married couple also wore disposable face masks and sunglasses during their outing.

It’s no surprise to see Jennifer and Cooke strolling around NYC. Pre-coronavirus pandemic, the Hunger Games star and the gallerist enjoyed “exploring” the plethora of restaurants the east coast city has to offer. “Jennifer loves living in New York because she feels like she just blends in and can be ‘normal,'” an insider exclusively told Life & Style. “She and Cooke go out almost every night!”

The A-lister couple got engaged in February 2019 and celebrated their nuptials eight months later with their closest family and friends. Several celebs were in attendance including Adele, Amy Schumer, Nicole Richie and Kris Jenner. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star even gave Jennifer advice on “venue, fashion and bridal party,” another insider exclusively told Life & Style shortly after the wedding. “She’s been tight with Kris for years.”

“[Jennifer] and Cooke made it official [with] a star-studded celebration at the palatial Belcourt mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, and it was a fairytale come true,” the source revealed at the time. “Their vows were so sweet and emotional. Jennifer was close to tears, as were some of the guests.”

Since getting hitched, Jennifer is “loving life as a newlywed,” a separate insider exclusively told Life & Style in March. “She has been enjoying some downtime and loves soaking in the city with her hubby.”

However, with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic still at large, it seems the adventurous American Hustle star and her man have had to rethink their city fun. Jen and Cooke have “been enjoying cozy nights at home, binge-watching the Real Housewives [franchise] and other shows,” an additional source explained. “They’re closer than ever.”
