The Best Part About Jennifer Lopez’s Sprawling Mansion Is the Tropical Backyard
Is it any surprise that Jennifer Lopez's house is as incredible as she is? The Bel Air estate the star bought back in August of 2016, snagging a $28 million price tag instead of the original $40 million list price, is absolutely enormous. Not only does it have seven bedrooms (and more than a dozen bathrooms — seriously), it also has its own movie theater and outdoor amphitheater. You know, because why would you ever want to leave the privacy of your own home to venture into the outside world? Want a peek inside the mansion? Take a mini-house tour of J.Lo's place in the video above.
Yep, the superstar's home is certainly luxurious. And once you see the real estate photos, you'll realize it gets even crazier. Because of course, J.Lo needs a chandelier in the kitchen, entire walls made of windows, and a massive game room for her kids to hang out in, plus an infinity pool and hot tub. Casual. And just in case you didn't already have enough options for where to swim, there's also a pond with its own little beach so you can truly feel like you're out in the wild. The best part? If the singer isn't feeling like exploring the great outdoors of her backyard, she can also jet over to her apartment in the concrete jungle of Manhattan instead.
Sure, the New York place is significantly smaller — 6,500 square feet to the California home's almost 14,000 — but it's no less insane. With four bedrooms and six bathrooms, the place has plenty of space. And that's including outdoor space. The apartment has a stunningly huge balcony that's pretty rare to find in the city. In addition to offering incredible views, like the one in the video above, it also plays host to a putting green and croquet pitch. That greenery extends inside, too. The master bedroom even has its own private lawn. But rumor has it that she's looking for a new place to share with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez after listing the penthouse for almost $27 million. Jennifer may still be Jenny from the Block, but she's definitely living large these days.
