Jessica Simpson Had the Best Clapback After IG Troll Calls Out Her ‘Nip Slip’: ‘I Think It’s Flattering’
Uh oh! Jessica Simpson posted a sweet Instagram photo with her daughter Birdie Mae on Tuesday, September 3, and it turns out the singer had a bit of a nip slip, which many were quick to point out. However, the 39-year-old had the perfect response for the haters.
“My little labor of love this year. #BIRDIEMAE,” the blonde beauty captioned the selfie. While several fans were focused on how precious the snap is, that wasn’t the case for everyone. One person took to the comments section and wrote, “#thefappening” and “#nipslip.” Rather than getting offended, Jessica decided to not take it seriously. “I think it’s flattering that you think my nipple is that high up,” she replied.
The “With You” crooner isn’t new to getting mommy-shamed online. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if she’s used to it by now, but fortunately, she doesn’t allow the negativity to bring her down! Instead, she ignores it or kills them with kindness.
Most recently, she shared a pic of her 5-month-old daughter sitting in a stroller, which many mistook as a car seat. If that had been the case, it wouldn’t have been the safest choice, but if you look closely, her baby girl actually isn’t in a car. “This bird couldn’t be more adorable #BlueEyedBeauty #BIRDIEMAE,” she wrote as the Insta caption. Once again, many focused on anything but the sweet post and looked for ways to criticize Jessica.
“That hard buckle should be on her sternum instead of her belly to be optimally effective and not cause more harm if a car accident would happen (god forbid!)” one commenter wrote. While a second person said, “Straps on this car seat do not provide correct support.”
As a way to put these remarks to an end, the mom of three temporarily disabled her comments. We don’t blame her, TBH. However, she was back in no time, allowing fans to spread the love again. Yes, girl!
