We’re exhausted just looking at her! Jessica Simpson was recently spotted heading to the doctor with her hubby, Eric Johnson, and y’all, she isn’t just pregnant … she’s PREGNANT.

In September 2018, the singer, 38, announced that she’s expecting her third child. “SURPRISE …” Jessica captioned an adorable snapshot of her kids Maxwell Drew, 6, and Ace Knute, 5, alongside several gender reveal balloons. “This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn’t be happier to announce this precious blessing of life.”

Unfortunately, the fashion designer’s pregnancy journey has hardly been easy. For starters, she gained a significant amount of weight very quickly. Of course, that wasn’t entirely shocking as she gained 60 pounds while carrying her daughter, Maxwell. Beyond that, Jessica took to Instagram to reveal that she’s been dealing with extreme swelling in her feet and ankles.

“Any remedies?! Help!!!!!” Jessica captioned a picture of her very swollen foot/ankle. For those of you who may not know, swelling of the feet/ankles (edema) is entirely common — insert picture of Kim Kardashian when she was carrying Saint — however, that doesn’t make it any less uncomfortable.

Thankfully, the blonde beauty later revealed that she managed to find the perfect remedy — cupping! Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine, according to WebMD.

During a cupping therapy session, cups are placed onto the skin for minutes at a time to create suction. It’s said that cupping helps with pain, inflammation, it can increase blood flow and can also be used as a deep tissue massage.

That sounds exactly like what this soon-to-mama-of-three needs! Here’s hoping that Jessica takes it easy over these next few months. We can’t wait to meet her little one who, by the way, may or may not be named Birdie!
