John Cena Makes Red Carpet Debut With Girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh After 7 Months of Dating

Look at these two! Actor and wrestler John Cena and his new girlfriend, Shay Shariatzadeh, made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Playing With Fire in NYC on October 26. Needless to say, it’s an exciting moment for the couple, considering they’ve been keeping relatively mum about their romance.

The 42-year-old and his new lady, 29, could be seen exchanging loving glances on the carpet as they posed for photos. The brunette beauty looked gorgeous in a dark, sparkling dress while the WWE alum rocked a sleek, bright blue suit with a red tie.

The couple was first spotted together on several dates in Vancouver back in March, while John was in town shooting the film. An eyewitness told Life & Style exclusively about their dates at the time.

“John and his new girlfriend have been out in the public multiple times,” Nina Safai, a Canadian blogger, revealed exclusively. “I’ve seen them together four times now. It started on March 3, and I’ve been running into them once or twice a week since then. I first saw them at Thierry dessert shop — it seemed like their first or second date.”

From there, the couple was spotted on more intimate dates in San Diego in April. Though they haven’t been seen out together all that much, insiders told Us Weekly that Shay is proving to be a really good partner for John.

“He was introducing people to her by name,” a source dished about the couple at an event in July. “He had his arm around her and she was laughing. They looked like a really cute couple!” A friend of the source also revealed that John is “really into Shay” and “excited about their new relationship.” He finds her “really smart and easygoing” and is “great for him.”

Prior to his romance with Shay, John dated WWE alum Nikki Bella on and off for six years — and they were even engaged back in the spring of 2018. After they broke up for good, the 35-year-old started dating Artem Chigvintsev, a former dance pro on Dancing With the Stars. Looks like everyone’s happy … and that’s the way we like it.
