Damn, Jonah Hill, you really did that. On January 15, the Maniac actor, 35, took to Instagram to show off his incredible weight loss progress. Ever since Jonah came onto the scene in 2007, he’s been known to fluctuate in size — i.e. his weight in Superbad vs. 21 Jump Street. However, it looks as if slim Jonah is here to stay thanks to his killer fitness regime.

“I started Brazilian [Jiu-Jitsu] [two] months ago and try and train [four] or [five] times a week. In high school, the dudes who did Jiu-Jitsu used to beat the s–t out of us at parties, so it turned me off to it as an idea growing up,” he began. “But quietly, I always thought it was a beautiful art form. At 35, I try and get over the stuff that made me feel weak and insecure as a teenager. It’s just wasted time and lessons you’ll never learn. Trying to let go of that. Nothing more humbling than getting your a– kicked by a 12-year-old your first week,” Jonah continued.

I know it sounds corny but it’s pretty dope to jump in and do stuff you’d never think you’d be able to do. Much respect to Sensai Josh and @clockworkbjj and Anthony for getting me into it ❤️ 🥋

Of course, his fans agreed with that sentiment and left plenty of love on his page. “Great post, man. Never let others tear you down,” one user commented. “This is truly motivating. Thank you so much for sharing,” added another. “Wow! Jonah is looking so good these days. Can’t believe how far he’s come,” someone echoed. Keep killing it, Jonah. You’re an inspiration.
