Just because everyone wishes that Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie were wrapped up in some twisted love triangle, doesn’t make it true! In fact, longtime Kardashian BFF Jonathan Cheban says it’s the exact opposite — and that includes Scott and Kourtney’s recent family vacation to Costa Rica without Sofia, 20.

It’s a situation. You kind of just live with it at this point,” Jonathan, 45, told Life & Style at the opening of Mohegan Sun’s Novelle nightclub in Uncasville, Connecticut on Sunday, June 23. “It’s really good coparenting. I think it can show a lot of people that they can really do it the right way,” he continued. “So … I think it’s kind of cool.”

Beyond admiring Scott and Kourtney’s coparenting skills while raising their three kiddos — Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4 — Jonathan also complimented Lord Disick’s ladylove. “Sofia is so cool, though, I mean I get it. She’s a comedy. I used to be best friends with Nicole Richie, so there’s something with those girls that is very fun to be with,” the social media influencer gushed.

Fun, indeed! So much so, that Kourtney’s little sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were spotted hanging out with Sofia at a mutual friend’s birthday party on Saturday, June 22. Hmmm, it looks like the model has no problem keeping up with the Kardashians after all.

So, does this mean that Scott, 35, is thinking about taking things to the next level with Sofia? Sure does! According to Us Weekly, the pair have “talked seriously about getting engaged.” *Screams internally.* “It’s a real possibility,” a source told the publication. “As it is now, Sofia and Scott look at each other as life partners [and] are in a great place and stronger than ever.”
