Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Took a Trip to Costa Rica but Left Sofia Richie in Los Angeles
Parenting time? Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick jetted off for a vacation to Costa Rica together while Sofia Richie stayed back in Los Angeles. This is surprising because, as of late, the unexpected trio has seemingly been spending tons of time together. They’ve been to Mexico multiple times with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars’ kids but it seems as though the model decided to sit this one out.
Kourtney, 40, and Scott, 36, were seen on the beach together on Wednesday, June 19, Us Weekly reports. However, they were not completely alone. The next day, the Talentless designer and Poosh founder were spotted soaking up the sun with Kim Kardashian. It sounds like it was a bit of a getaway for the older cousins because they were also joined by North West, 6, and Mason Disick, 9. According to the outlet, the famous reality family paddleboarded, rode around on a boat and relaxed in lounge chairs. Sounds fab! Kourtney and Scott share two other children — Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4.
Meanwhile, Sofia, 20, attended an event for Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr‘s skincare line Kora Organics. She documented the bright gathering on her Instagram Story and looked unbothered about her beau’s vacay. It turns out, she seems pretty cool with the close relationship between the parents. While Scott was vacationing with the Kar-Jenner family in Bali, he mentioned that he was pretty straight-forward about their arrangement.
“I mean, Sofia knew going into this that I was extremely close with Kourtney,” Scott explained to Khloé Kardashian at the time. “She was like, ‘Listen, I will never get between you and your family and your children. Just speak to me and make me comfortable.'” KoKo, 34, simply responded, “That’s very mature of her. I don’t know if I could do it.”
As for Kourtney, she previously mentioned to Paper magazine that she’s “most proud” of her friendly relationship with Scott and Sofia. Many people are confused about their arrangement, including Kris Jenner. During the June 9 episode of KUWTK, the momager, 63, was trying to wrap her head around her oldest daughter’s trip to Mexico with her baby daddy and his girlfriend. “He was gonna take them anyways,” Kourtney tried to explain about not wanting to miss a moment with her kids. “So I’m like, do I want to go and experience it with them? Or do I want to stay home? I get FOMO so I’m like, I don’t want to miss out on this with my kids.”
