Grandma MJ Is Less Than Impressed With Scott Disick’s Talentless Brand — Watch the Hilarious Clip!
Although Kendall Jenner and Sofia Richie have been repping Scott Disick‘s new Talentless clothing brand, one member of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family is less than impressed with his new project. In a clip from the upcoming episode of the reality show on June 2, Grandma MJ (real name Mary Jo Houghton) is not here for the Lord’s ironic brand name.
During the new episode, the 84-year-old pays an early morning visit to the Flip It Like Disick star’s home where they chat about life, the kids and his new project. “I’ve been working a lot on my clothing company that I have. It’s called Talentless,” Scott, 36, gushes to Kris Jenner‘s mom. “What?” she asks seemingly unimpressed and giving him one last chance to offer up a better name (LOL). After he repeats it, MJ simply responds with a grunt.
Scott tries to further explain the meaning behind the quirky emblem. “It’s a play on the fact that everybody has always said everybody that’s in the reality business have no talent,” he offers. The New York native then adds, “Everybody’s loved the name.” Clearly, MJ hasn’t heard her granddaughter Kim Kardashian‘s iconic line, “Pretty good for a girl with no talent.”
MJ then sweetly tries to give her marketing input. “What if you used something with a positive flair? Like Talented. Or Handsome,” she suggests. Sadly, the designer has to break the news that his name has already been trademarked and everything is finalized. Honestly, the proud grandma should’ve been consulted about this months ago.
The fabulous grandma is obviously beloved by the whole family. Kris is one of her main caretakers but Kendall and Kylie offered to step up and help with the responsibilities to help care for MJ. “I mean, I’m not going to lie, it would be really great to have a little bit of support in that area … I sometimes don’t know what to do with her because she doesn’t feel like going out but if she has more visitors that would be really terrific for her,” Kris told her youngest daughters about her elderly mom. “She would love to have you guys around. That would make me feel so much better.”
