Jordyn Woods’ BF Karl Gifts Timothee Chalamet Signed Knicks Jersey Amid Kylie Jenner Romance
Timothée Chalamet took home a special souvenir from the Knicks game, which could be seemingly thanks to his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
The Dune actor, 29, sat courtside as the New York Knicks took on the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, January 27, and was gifted a signed Knicks jersey by Karl Anthony Towns, the partner to his girlfriend’s former best friend, Jordyn Woods.
“KAT gifts Timothée Chalamet his jersey after the @nyknicks W!” the NBA’s official account posted a clip of the interaction on X. In the footage, the New York Knicks center, 29, walked over to the sideline, removed his jersey, signed it and exchanged a handshake with the actor that quickly turned into a hug.
“My dog, my dog,” the Wonka actor can be heard saying in the clip.
Timothée is an avid sports fan and has sat courtside at games in the past. Last month, a 2010 post on X from former New York Knicks forward Landry Fields resurfaced and revealed that 14-year-old Timothée won a ticket giveaway to attend an upcoming game, referring to him as “Tim Chalamet.”
Timothée attended the NBA game without his billionaire girlfriend. Although the relationship between Timothée and Karl is unclear, the women in their lives are back on good terms after Jordyn, 27, made headlines in 2019 for kissing Khloé Kardashian’s then-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. The scandal resulted in Jordyn distancing herself from the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Four years after the scandal took place, Kylie, 27, and Jordyn revealed that they were on good terms when they were spotted having lunch together in July 2023. More recently, the duo reunited to film a TikTok video together in September 2024.
Despite losing one of her closest friends, the Kylie Cosmetics founder admitted in October 2024 that the space was good because it allowed both her and Jordyn to broaden their horizons.
“I learned so much, gained so much independence, and was there for myself. It helped me grow up a little bit, because we were so attached at the hip,” the Kardashians star told Elle. “I think that in order for us both to grow, she needed to spread her wings and do what she needed to do as well.”
Kylie is often spotted with her movie star boyfriend, whom she started dating in 2023. They were most recently seen together in New York City on January 25 following his appearance as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
Although Kylie and Timothée have been spotted packing the PDA in public, sources exclusively tell Life & Style it’s because his roving eye remains a cause for serious concern.
“She tries her best not to react to the fact that he’s known as a player amongst his friends, but of course it does get to her,” the insider explained on January 20. “She knows that anytime she’s not right by his side, there are women throwing themselves at him.”
Kylie has been a public supporter of her boyfriend’s rising career, especially after the French-American star received a Golden Globe nomination for his role in the Bob Dylan biopic. However, navigating their relationship hasn’t been easy, despite her A-list status.
According to the source, “It’s extra tough because he’s this huge movie star so it’s not just average women that he’s crossing paths with,” adding, “He’s surrounded by gorgeous actresses and models.” Even for someone as wealthy, famous and beautiful as Kylie, “it’s impossible not to feel threatened.”
