Josh Hall Is at ‘a Loss for Words’ Amid Christina Hall’s Antics in ‘Christina in the Country’

Josh Hall made a brief cameo on the November 16 episode of Christina in the Country season 2 and was “at a loss of words” by his now estranged wife Christina Haack’s (formerly known as Christina Hall) household chores.

In the scene, Christina, 41, and her kids, Taylor, Brayden and Hudson, washed their domesticated chickens in a bathtub inside the Tennessee home. The HGTV star shares Taylor and Brayden with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and Husdon with ex-husband Ant Antstead.

“In Tennessee, our chickens are our pets. I want to bring them inside and cuddle with them on the couch. But we can’t do that until we give them a bath,” Christina said in a confessional interview during the episode.

It took a village to get the bird clean, as Christina did the dirty work on her hands and knees, while Taylor sat in the bathtub while gently trying to keep the unconventional family pet clean. Brayden stood over his sister and mother as Josh walked into the bathroom and stopped in the doorway before entering the chaotic scene.

“I’m kinda speechless. I shouldn’t be at this point, but,” Josh, 44, said.

Christina played on Josh’s uneasiness by deeming the Leiper’s Fork household a “full blown chicken hair salon.”

Josh replied, “I was literally just gonna say, are you opening up a grooming center for chickens?” before later adding, “I’m at a loss for words.”

Christina and Josh were still together while filming Christina in the Country before he filed for divorce in July in Orange County, California. Their separation has been far from amicable and the two are battling it out over the sale of their Tennessee home, the family abode in Christina in the Country.

The Flip or Flop alum announced she was putting the Tennessee home up for sale on October 3, despite Josh living there after he filed for divorce.

“Time to go back to reality …” she wrote via Instagram Stories in a follow-up post at the time. “Remember when you said you would never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog. I guess plans changed.”

The following week, Life & Style confirmed that Josh requested the court block Christina’s sale of the property. Things got so nasty that Christina couldn’t “believe that this is the same guy she thought she’d spend the rest of her life with.”

“There’s no telling how low Josh will stoop to get her money,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style in a story published on October 22. However, Christina took the properly listing off the market the following month.

Josh appeared in the Christina in the Country season 2 premiere the following month amid their public split.

“I have some good news,” Christina told Josh in the episode. “I know how much you love Tennessee. I’ve gotten some inquiries lately and a few of them are really good, so I feel like it’s time we go back there and start some new projects, new families, new contractors.”

The former couple teamed up and purchased a fixer-upper property for $450,000 and coughed up $250,000 for renovations.
