Things haven’t been going well between Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley, a.k.a. JWoww, and her estranged husband, Roger Mathews. The couple has been dealing with a pretty tumultuous divorce, but clearly, they’re able to put aside their differences for the sake of their kids. The 33-year-old mama-of-two took to social media to share a few videos from an Easter train ride the family took on April 6.

Jenni posted two really sweet videos to her Instagram Stories of her son, Greyson, playing with blue and red colored Easter eggs — and we couldn’t help but notice the progress he’s made. Jenni revealed the 2-year-old’s “nonverbal” autism diagnosis back in November 2018, and though it’s been a long journey, he’s made significant strides that could even be seen in these most recent videos.

“He’s doing amazing,” the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star told Us Weekly while promoting a partnership with KultureCity back in March. “He has the best therapists. He’s in four or five different therapies, but he is just kicking ass. Every day gets better. Every day he’s learning something new.”

“It went from, he didn’t know one word or understand a word in September to now, it’s March and he’s combining two, three-word sentences,” she revealed. “[He does] sign language. He knows his colors, his numbers.”

Jenni and Roger’s daughter, Meilani, 4, also made a cute appearance in the videos, snuggling up to her mama and sharing a smile. And, of course, Roger, 43, was there too, on daddy duty and sitting next to Greyson.

The former guidette decided to end things with her beau in September 2018 after eight years together and three years of marriage.

Despite Roger telling Us Weekly that the couple was “working on things,” Radar Online confirmed with an insider from the Ocean County Superior Court that no further motions had been added to Jenni’s divorce complaint back in November 2018. All in all, that technically meant the split was still totally on — at least, in the eyes of the law.

Fast forward to January and the tensions between the couple only escalated. Jenni released a statement accusing Roger of abuse, to which he responded in his own statement, followed by a second plea to his wife. “Let’s stop the madness. Let’s stop the anger. Let’s stop the lies. Let’s work together for our children,” he said.

We haven’t heard much from the JWoww/Roger camp over further divorce proceedings, but we can only hope they’re continuing to mend things as a family. After all, the holidays are the perfect time.
