First married Thanksgiving in the books, y’all! Katherine Schwarzenegger and husband Chris Pratt shared a sweet, family-centric holiday together to ring in their very first Turkey Day as man and wife. The couple spent the day with the 29-year-old’s mom, Maria Shriver, at her house.

The brunette beauty’s uncle Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. posted a cute group photo of the family from their holiday celebration on November 30, with Katherine and Chris, 40, smiling happily within the crew. “Game Night at Shrivers,” he wrote. “Thanks Maria!” His wife, actress Cheryl Hines, also posted the same photo and wrote, “We Are Fam-i-ly. Thanks, Maria, for a very, very competitive game night!”

One familiar face in the sweet pic was the Guardians of the Galaxy actor’s son, Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris. The 7-year-old’s presence at the family event was a sweet little reminder of how well this blended family is getting on together.

Back on November 23, Kat started on her holiday thoughts early on Instagram. “Coming up on Thanksgiving week and feeling so thankful and excited to be with my family and loved ones,” she captioned a photo of her husband biking between two trees with changing leaves. “I know this week comes with a lot of mixed feelings for people about returning home, traveling and missing loved ones. Everyone needs a little extra love as they navigate their way through this time.”

“Today, I am grateful for this bike ride with my wonderful husband and seeing the colors of the fall leaves,” she continued. “While we were riding our bikes, he said let’s give out real honest compliments to people we pass and see what happens. We did, and not only did random compliments surprise people on the bike path, they also made us feel good. This also reminded me how thankful I am to be married to someone who thinks of kind ways to make the world a better place.”

Needless to say, it seems like the pair’s first Thanksgiving as a married couple was truly one to remember. We can’t wait to see what Christmas will bring for these cuties!
