Khloe Kardashian Is Helping Scott Disick Get Over Sofia Richie Split: She ‘Always Cheers Him Up’
That’s what friends are for! Khloé Kardashian is helping Scott Disick get over his recent split from ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie. “If Scott’s having a down day, speaking to Khloé always cheers him up,” a source exclusively tells Life & Style. “She has him in hysterics.”
To cope with the breakup, Scott and Khloé “FaceTime every day,” adds the insider. The Flip It Like Disick star, 37, and the 21-year-old model called it quits on May 27, Life & Style confirmed. The pair sparked dating rumors in May 2017 but didn’t officially start dating until September of that year.
Aside from Kourtney Kardashian, the Good American founder, 35, is Scott’s “favorite” member of the famous family. “They’re like brother and sister and bounce off each other,” says the source.
In the past, Scott has supported Khloé through difficult times of her own. After the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star broke up with Tristan Thompson following a handful of highly publicized cheating scandals — including one with Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods — the Talentless founder stuck by her side.
“Scott’s extremely protective over Khloé and doesn’t want to see her get hurt again,” a separate insider previously told Life & Style. “He would love for Khloé to meet Mr. Right and thinks she deserves to find happiness.”
According to the source, Scott once “suggested” setting KoKo up “with one of his friends,” but “most of them aren’t really her type.” When the New York native isn’t leaning on Khloé, he’s spending time with his three children, Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5.
Since Scott and Sofia ended their relationship, the reality TV personality has been on several trips with ex Kourtney, 41, and their darling brood. For Scott’s 37th birthday, they stayed at a 5-star resort in Utah that promotes wellness and healing.
Mason, Penelope and Reign “are enjoying seeing their parents spend more time together and being a proper family,” a third source told Life & Style on June 10.
For her part, Sofia is “open” to dating again, an additional insider explained. But she’s “not in any rush.”
