Kim Kardashian Celebrates 39th Birthday With Low-Key Night In — And Makeup Done By Kylie Jenner!
Sometimes a night at home with friends and family is best — especially when it comes to a birthday. That was Kim Kardashian‘s thought process for her big 39th birthday weekend because she decided to have a super chill night in on October 19. The KKW Beauty founder’s big day is actually October 21, but it looks as though her crew decided to have a little celebration early.
The KUWTK star showed off the expertly decorated set-up in her dining room on her Instagram Stories, with a still image of the table as well as a video of her place setting. Kim flaunted several sweet gimmicky gifts surrounding her plate, like sunglasses, a necklace and even a birthday goblet. One of the cutest little items was a ribbon that read, “Today is all about me.”
The brunette beauty even showed off her chill getting ready process for the small dinner party, with her trusty MUA-for-the-day, little sister Kylie Jenner. The makeup mogul applied the birthday girl’s blush expertly before her older sister joked, “Your powder!” Ky was ~baking~ her contour while applying Kim’s makeup, FYI. So funny.
After the sweet dinner date, it seems as though the Kar-Jenner clan — and whichever pals Kim invited, as the table seemed to be set for a decent amount of folks — retired to the couch to play a few fun games. The mother of four posted a cute photo of Cards Against Humanity cards after showing off her extravagantly set table.
Everyone knows Kardashian birthday parties are usually extremely lavish, so it’s nice to see the busy mama doing something a little more low-key. We have a feeling she may be on a vibe lately, as she decided to keep it chill back in May when she had a baby shower for her son, Psalm West. Considering the theme was CBD, it definitely wasn’t too hard to relax.
