LOL, At It Again! Kim Kardashian Admits North Is Photoshopped Into the Family Christmas Card
Having four kids is quite the challenge — just ask Kim Kardashian. The 39-year-old always has to find new and creative ways to take family photos with her children, but thanks to Photoshop, that wasn’t an issue when her eldest — North West — wasn’t cooperating when it came time to shoot the family Christmas card.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star made an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show on December 17, and admitted that getting her entire Kar-Jenner family to take a holiday photo was turning out to be a struggle. So, instead, she decided to just opt for just her husband, Kanye West, and their kids North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. However, getting a photo in which all the children followed instructions was no walk in the park.
“It was just a time thing of why I couldn’t wrangle everybody,” she explained about why her mom, sisters, nieces and nephews weren’t in the photo. “[I thought,] I’m gonna do one with my kids and my husband and even that was so dramatic. It’s the most anxiety to get four kids together smiling in a room. So North was having a day, so she refused to be in the shoot. She was crying because she wanted a specific hairstyle — whatever.”
Kim divulged that she told North that she wasn’t going to participate in the shoot, which the little one was fine with. However, the following day, the 6-year-old changed her mind. “Thank god the photographer was still in town. So [North] said, ‘I just want a photo shoot with just you.’ So I said, ‘perfect,'” Kim added.
The photographer ended up taking photos of them together, but Kim wasn’t glammed up so the mom of four asked for North to be Photoshopped into the family photo instead. “It looks like a beautiful card,” she continued. “I would have rather done it this way than have the anxiety of what I went through. It was a lot.”
This isn’t the first time Kim has taken to Photoshop. For Halloween, the KKW Beauty founder edited her youngest daughter, Chi, into another fam photo. “This family pic was such a challenge because Chicago was so scared of Dino! LOL.” Kim captioned a Flintstones-themed photo on Instagram. “We tried to explain and show her that it was just daddy but she didn’t get the concept yet! So shout out to the photographer for editing her in and making our family Flintstones dreams come true!”
