Kim Kardashian Shares a Sweet Gift From Brother Rob’s Ex Adrienne Bailon on Instagram
Friends til the end. Adrienne Bailon sent the sweetest gift to Kim Kardashian that reminded us all that friendship can withstand anything … even an awkward split from Rob Kardashian. The ladies are constantly cheering each other on via social media and it’s great to see the longtime pals supporting one another.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians starlet, 38, posted a photo on her Instagram Story of the goodies sent by The Real host, 35. The rustic planter said “Kimberly” across the front in gold letters and was stuffed with succulents and other plants. In the middle stood a jewelry tree filled with hoop earrings and necklaces from Adrienne’s XIXI jewelry collection. “How cute is this!!!” Kim wrote about the gift.
Even more thoughtful was the handwritten card from the former Cheetah Girls actress. “She dances to the songs in her head. Speaks with the rhythm of her heart and loves from the depths of her soul,” the note in the basket said. The poem is by author Dean Jackson and is clearly a favorite of the talk show host.
Adrienne first burst on the Hollywood scene as one of the lead vocalists in 3LW. She became tied to the Kardashians when she started dating Rob in 2007. The pair broke up after two years and the sock designer admitted on the reality show that it was because he cheated.
Although everything is cool between the former Disney star and the famous family now, things did get rocky between them in 2014. The singer got in an all-out Twitter war with Kim after an interview she did bashing her appearance on KUWTK and calling it “hurtful” to her budding career. The KKW Beauty founder responded at the time, “Funny how she says being with a Kardashian hurt her career yet the only reason she has this article is because she is talking about a Kardashian.” Ouch.
Obviously, things have been smoothed out and the ladies now spend their energy celebrating each other’s successes.
