Kim Kardashian’s Photographer Marcus Hyde Is Seen at Coachella for First Time Since His Accident
Making progress. Famed photographer Marcus Hyde was spotted at Coachella with Khloé, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian during Kanye West‘s powerful Sunday service on April 21. Since getting in a serious car accident back in October 2018, the close family friend of the Kardashians has been focusing on regaining his strength and recovering from the traumatic incident.
Khloé, 34, shared a photo on Instagram of her sisters and Marcus taking in the special Easter show during the sunny day in Palm Springs. The photographer can be seen in a wheelchair surrounded by the Keeping Up With the Kardashians family.
According to an update on his Go Fund Me page in February, “Marcus is now in a rehab hospital doing occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy … He is continuing to improve every day.” The update also mentioned that he had his “tracheostomy removed,” which is a tube inserted in the windpipe to assist with breathing, according to Johns Hopkins.

The artist’s fundraising page has currently raised $37,958 to help cover health care costs. Kim and Kanye previously donated $25,000 to support their friend and rally others to give.
According to TMZ, the life-threatening crash happened in the early morning of October 29 while Marcus was driving on the Pacific Coast Highway. He reportedly lost control of his vehicle which caused him to go over an embankment. There was reportedly a female passenger in the car who was also critically injured.
It was reported that he was airlifted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center “after suffering seizures due to the crash,” according to Us Weekly. Law enforcement officials confirmed he suffered a “critical head injury.”
The photographer has traveled all over the world with the famous family and is responsible for many of their iconic shots. He was behind their Kar-Jenner Calvin Klein shoot while Khloé and Kylie were pregnant. He also snapped Kim’s racy beach pictures while she had her “Bo Derek braids.”
It’s great to see him out and about.
