Kristen Doute and Scheana Marie Spend Christmas Together Amid Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney Feud
Friend-mas in the face of a feud! Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute spent her Christmas with costar and close pal Scheana Marie — instead of spreading cheer with her longtime BFFs Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz. The three Bravo TV babes have been feuding since late summer so it’s no surprise to see them keeping their distance during the holidays but … that doesn’t mean we’re not a bit bummed to see the separation.
Kristen, 36, and Scheana, 32, shared several videos and photos on Instagram Stories of themselves hanging out with Scheana’s family for the holiday. Plus, longtime Pump Rules pal Rachael O’Brien was also in attendance for the festivities.
Clearly, the summer feud made an impact within their group. In fact, Life & Style spoke exclusively with Stassi, 31, and Katie, 32, at BravoCon about the blonde babe’s upcoming Italian wedding — and the girls revealed that Kristen may not be an attendee at the milestone moment.
“It’s important to them that they only have people there that are immediate in their lives, who they see a future in their lives with and that they’re close with. It’s important, I think, to keep the wedding intimate,” Katie explained, to which Stas added, “Yeah. Basically, a lot of people aren’t going to be invited. That’s what she’s trying to nicely say.”
Plus, Katie dished that the feud would play out when Pump Rules comes back for season 8 in January. “Well, you’re going to see a lot of it play out on the show, so I’m not going to explain too much. But you’ve seen us ebb and flow with Kristen a lot and we know sometimes how Kristen can be difficult,” she revealed. “It just reached the wall, it reached the ceiling.”
According to Stassi, the ~break~ between the self-proclaimed “Witches of WeHo” was definitely needed. “It’s not just one thing that brought us to this place. It was just a series of years of things,” she said. “We kind of just felt like, ‘OK, we need a break and that’s it.’ And we love her still and care about her, but it’s just break time.”
On December 11, Kristen spoke with HollywoodLife about seeing her former friends at the epic Bravo-centric event while attending costars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix‘s Fancy AF Cocktails book launch. “We exchanged pleasantries. We were all there for the same reason and we all have a job to do, and we were all on the same team when it comes to the show, but that was it,” she explained to the outlet.
But, at the end of the day, she’s ready and willing to make up whenever. “I never say never to any of that. I love them both. My personal POV is I love them both,” she explained. “They’re still my sisters to me. I still have a lot of love. They asked for space, so I’m giving them space.”
