Kylie Jenner and Sofia Richie Grew ‘Closer’ After Kourtney Kardashian Accepted Scott Disick’s Relationship
This friendship is legit, y’all! Since Kylie Jenner moved on from her close friendship with Jordyn Woods, the 21-year-old found a tight bond with another babe in her circle: Scott Disick‘s girlfriend, Sofia Richie.
“Kylie and Sofia have always run in the same circle and are very close in age, so they’ve bonded a lot through the years,” an insider told Us Weekly on July 20. “They’ve always been in the limelight, lived very similar lifestyles and grown up around a lot of the same people.”
It totally makes sense that the dynamic duo would have a history … considering we’ve seen the old school photos of the girls together from years prior. Obviously, their acquaintance goes back a while — but their actual friendship got real after the drama between Sofia, 20, and Kylie’s big sis Kourtney Kardashian cooled off.
“They’ve gotten a lot closer as of late now that the Kourtney, Scott and Sofia drama has died down,” the source revealed to the outlet. “Once any drama between Kourtney and Sofia blew over, Kylie felt more comfortable spending girl time with Sofia again.”
These two have definitely taken advantage of girl time together, hanging out pretty consistently over the last few months. Most recently, Sof jetted off to Turks and Caicos with Ky and her other pals to celebrate Kylie Skin, and the pair even wore matching bikinis.
Needless to say, there’s one person thrilled about this perfect platonic union: Scott!
“Scott is really happy that Sofia and Kylie have become so close again because it means that Sofia has been further accepted in the family,” an insider told the outlet on July 17.
Even Kourt, 40, is feeling good about where she stands with Sofia and Scott as of right now. “It’s probably the thing I’m most proud of,” she told Paper magazine about her friendship with the couple back in May.
