Lin-Manuel Miranda and His Wife Vanessa Nadal Are Expecting Baby No. 2!
Baby No. 2 is on the way for Lin-Manuel Miranda and his wife Vanessa Nadal! The brunette beauty flaunted her bump on the red carpet at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, and the Hamilton creator later confirmed the news with a tweet.

The couple already shares a three-year-old son named Sebastian. When a fan told the Tony winner to “tell seb i say congrats on becoming a big bro,” Lin responded, “He is so impatient for it. Once, mid-tantrum, he cried, ‘When is mommy gonna HAAAATCH…'”
The 37-year-old and his lawyer/scientist wife got married in 2010 after dating for about five years. Twitter recently gushed over the duo and their obvious love for each other after they posted a joint video. “y’all are honestly the cutest, love you guys so much. always surprised by how amazing and generous you are,” one user wrote, while another said, “y’all are too stinking cute. I had a flashback to my 85 yr old grandfather looking at my grandmother the exact same way.”
Around the time of their wedding, Lin told the New York Times of his wife, “She knows she’s dope. She’s beautiful but not vain. She’s smart but not arrogant. It’s like, all killer, no filler.” Vanessa added, “He gets me in a way that no one else does. I’m a scientist at heart. I try very hard not to let my emotions cloud my judgments and he’ll see through that and see what I’m really feeling.”
In 2016, Lin — a self-professed theater nerd — gave some advice to parents who may think worry that their kid is a little “weird.” “Teach your kid to make their own way. To follow their interests, make their own path. I wrote my first Broadway musical, In the Heights, because I wanted a future in theater and I didn’t see a place for myself. So I wrote one.” Congrats to the soon-to-be family-of-four!
