Everything We Know About ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2 on Netflix So Far: Release Date, Cast and More
Doesn’t it feel like years have passed since season 1 of Love Is Blind aired on Netflix? In reality, the hit dating series dropped in February 2020 — and quickly became a nation-wide obsession. Fast forward to March of this year, and the streaming platform gave Love Is Blind season 2 the green light.
Unfortunately, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, production has been delayed. To learn more about when you can expect new episodes of Love Is Blind, as well as details about the cast and more, keep reading!
When does season 2 of Love Is Blind come out?
While Netflix has yet to give a definitive release date, it’s likely season 2 won’t come out until later in 2021. Additionally, there has been no word on how episodes will be released — i.e. all at once, weekly or bi-weekly.
Who are the cast members for Love Is Blind season 2?
Sadly, Netflix is staying pretty tight-lipped about who’s participating on the new season. According to TVLine, casting began in Chicago in March. Based on the application, it looks like contestants must be 21 years or older to audition.
Who is hosting Love Is Blind season 2?
Considering the series didn’t really involve too much hosting or narration, we suspect season 1 hosts Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa, will be returning for round 2. However, it’s not uncommon for reality TV shows to bring back former contestants as hosts or consultants. Who knows? Perhaps Lauren Speed and her husband, Cameron Hamilton, will take over the job!
To be fair, they aren’t the only season 1 Love Is Blind couple that’s still going strong! Damian Powers and girlfriend Giannina Gibelli look happier than ever, as do Amber Pike and husband Mike Barnett.
Where will Love Is Blind season 2 take place?
Season 1 of Love Is Blind was filmed in Atlanta. That said, with casting being limited to Chicago, it looks like filming might take place there as well. Even so, considering most of the cast interactions take place in the “pods,” it doesn’t really matter where they are! Of course, that is until they get engaged and go on a fancy vacation to somewhere tropical.
It looks like we’ll just have to wait and see!
