Your weekends just got a little sexier because every Saturday during the season there will be a two-hour special called “Love Island: More to Love.” Viewers will get to see exclusive footage not aired during the regular episodes, new interviews and the best moments of the week.

Much like the way season 16 of The Bachelorette is being filmed, Love Island will be shot in a “bubble” at one location with health and safety regulations in place amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The islanders will be hosted at a luxe villa at The Cromwell, a boutique hotel part of Caesars Entertainment, in Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see how the singles interact and compete given that many of them have either not been participating in romance or going on virtual dates amid social distancing measures during COVID-19.

The premise of the show is pretty simple — couples, who are under 24-hour surveillance, are paired up right off the bat during a selection ceremony before competing in a variety of games and challenges. However, new singles enter the villa and attempt to break up the teams. If you’re left alone, you are sent packing.

“The show is warm-hearted, funny, dramatic and always, first and foremost, about love,” David Eilenberg, ITV CCO and executive producer, told The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the first U.S. season. “One of the hallmarks of Love Island is that the format itself is always fluid enough to accommodate twists and surprises that amplify story. We’re going to take the same unpredictable, cliffhanger-driven approach to our storytelling that has generated such fanatical viewing in the U.K.”

In case you missed season 1, MTV2 is reairing all 22 episodes during a two-day marathon on Saturday, August 22, starting at 11 a.m. EST.

We can’t wait to see all the love and drama season 2 brings. Keep scrolling to meet the cast!
